Milestones for modern bathroom design

SIDLER was founded by Otto Sidler in 1964 for production of lighting fixtures, the first semi-finished product – mirror cabinet "Toilux" – was produced in 1968. That was the start of a whole product family, which, due to its outstanding quality, ran for well over twenty years.

The constantly growing success made a move necessary to Romanshorn in 1990. With the new model ‘SIDLER Econom’, a new development began in parallel to the light-mirror. In 1996, SIDLER introduced the electronic ballast (EVG ), which is now the trade standard.

An expansion of production up to 4,000 m2 (in 2002) and substantial investment in machinery (in 2008 and 2009) were the background music for a spectacular new models: in 1996 SIDLER Italique, in 2001 SIDLER Axara, in 2003 SIDLER Vairano, in 2007 and finally in 2010 SIDLER Priolo, SIDLER Cubango and SIDLER Teramo.
